About the Event
"An Adam Experiment" is a solo performance captured on film featuring actor Michael Chenevert and produced by Dr. Tyrha Lindsey-Warren - both of whom will be in attendance at this event.
Mr. Chenevert breathes life into Adam Clayton Powell, a pioneering champion for justice during the Civil Rights movement and a member of the US House of Representatives.
The play/film explores a pivotal day in Adam's life as he navigates a nation in unrest over racial integration while also contending with his wife's apprehensions about their marriage.
This event is co-sponsored by the Community Race Relations Coalition and the Waco Family and Faith International Film Festival.
